Oregon / Arizona Online Training Class

Thank you for your interest in taking the Oregon / Arizona Online Handgun Safety training. This online class satisfies the minimum requirements for both the Oregon Concealed Handgun License (CHL) as well as the Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP).

Taking this online training course DOES NOT guarantee that you will be issued an Oregon CHL or Arizona CWP. Please review the Oregon CHL requirements, and Arizona CWP requirements before taking this class. By taking this class you certify that you are eligible to receive a concealed handgun license or weapons permit in the state(s) to which you will apply.

How the online class works

This online class should take you about an hour or less to complete. Please be sure prior to beginning that you have the time to devote to this class. There are quizzes at the end of each section that you MUST PASS before you will be able to proceed to the next section. If you get a question wrong you will be required to review the material in that section prior to attempting the quiz again. You will have 24 hours from the time you purchase this class to complete the training. If you absolutely HAVE to leave the class and come back later you will be required to start from the beginning. To Start the class again simply LOGIN using the username/password you created at signup and you will be sent directly back to the online class after login.

System Requirements

  1. This class makes extensive use video and audio. Please be sure that you have a sound card and speakers prior to beginning the class.
  2. Adobe Flash 8 or better is required. If you need Flash, you can download it here.
  3. Only modern browsers are supported. Where you see a “+” any version newer than listed will function correctly. Minimum browser requirements: Internet Explorer 6 +, Firefox 3.0 +, Google Chrome 1.4 +, Safari 5.0.6 +. We highly recommend Google Chrome which includes the most recent Flash version and can be downloaded here.

Instructions

  1. Choose a “UserName” that will become your login for future purchases.
  2. Choose a password that is at least 8 letters long. If you need to come back later to try the class again or reprint your certificate you will need that password.
  3. First name and Last name of person taking the class is what will be printed on the certificate of completion. BE SURE these are correct. We will not reprint certificates for name corrections.
  4. Be sure your email is correct. If something goes wrong purchasing the class we may need to contact you to help you get started.
  5. Be sure to allow at least one hour to devote attention to this class before you click purchase. You will have 24 hours to complete the class but if you leave and return to this page you will have to start the class from the beginning. We do not save your place.
  6. Once you complete your purchase, you will be directed back to this page. This form will be gone and in its place you will see a “Start Class” button which you will click to begin the training.
