We at Blackstone Gun Safety are strong supporters of the Second Amendment and are here to provide the education necessary for people to obtain their concealed carry permit in various states. We also believe in safe and responsible gun ownership so our emphasis is on safety and knowledge of the applicable laws and restrictions.
Our concealed carry class will give you the necessary documentation to apply for the Oregon Concealed Handgun License, Utah Concealed Firearm Permit, Florida Concealed Weapons License and the Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit.
The cost of the class does not include the cost of the permit.
Arizona is now one of four “constitutional carry” states and has made dramatic changes to their requirements for their concealed carry permits. Non residents are no longer required to take an eight-hour course and prove proficiency with a handgun. Their permit is recognized by many states including Nevada, New Mexico and Kansas, which do not recognize the Utah or Oregon permits. You must be a US Citizen to apply for the Arizona CWP.
If you hold the Oregon, Utah and Arizona permits you are legally able to carry concealed in every state west of the Mississippi except California and Colorado. We hope some day we will have a federal law that requires all states to recognize all other state permits. Washington DC is currently considering this law but it still has a long way to go before it becomes a reality.
We also offer a Basic Pistol and Shooting class for beginner shooters or anyone who wants a refresher course. The first two to three hours are in the classroom and cover the fundamentals of a pistol, ammunition, care, storage and safety rules. The last three hours are spent shooting. We have one instructor and three Range Safety Officers for six students. These classes are offered from May to September.
